1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of asca-security.com and of the ASCA platform (the "Service"), published by Alessio Scatamacchia. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept them on its behalf.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
2. The Service
ASCA is an automated security testing platform for mobile applications. AI agents analyse the applications you submit, identify potential vulnerabilities and produce reports describing their impact, how they work and how to fix them.
The Service is currently offered as a free public beta. Features may change, be added or be removed at any time, and the Service may be interrupted for maintenance or improvements.
3. Authorisation to test
You may only submit applications that you own or that you are explicitly authorised in writing to test by their owner. This applies to applications uploaded as files and to applications imported from Google Play.
You are solely responsible for obtaining and keeping these authorisations. ASCA may ask you to prove them and may suspend any scan or account where it has reasonable doubts.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- test an application without the authorisation described above;
- use the results to attack, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any system, application or user;
- submit content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or bypass the security of the Service;
- resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written agreement.
5. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account and in the workspaces you manage, including actions by the members you invite.
Tell us immediately at contact@asca-security.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to the applications, files and information you submit. You grant ASCA a limited licence to store, decompile and analyse them, including through the third-party AI model providers described in our Privacy Policy, solely to provide the Service to you.
ASCA does not use your content to train AI models and does not share your results with anyone outside your workspace, except as required by law.
7. Results and AI-generated content
Reports are produced by automated agents. They may contain false positives, miss vulnerabilities or include inaccurate remediation advice. A scan with no findings does not guarantee that an application is secure.
You remain responsible for reviewing the results, deciding which actions to take and testing any fix before deploying it.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, agents, interface, documentation and the ASCA name are the property of the publisher. These terms do not transfer any of these rights to you, beyond the right to use the Service while your account is active.
9. Price
The Service is free of charge during the public beta. No payment information is collected on the website. If paid plans are introduced later, they will be presented to you in advance and you will be free to accept them or stop using the Service.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings.
ASCA may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, in particular the rules on authorisation to test, with notice where the situation allows it.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" during the beta, without any warranty of availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, ASCA is not liable for indirect damages such as loss of data, revenue or reputation, nor for the consequences of a vulnerability that the Service did not detect. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Significant changes will be announced by email or in the Service before they take effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, we will first try to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts.
For any question about these terms, write to contact@asca-security.com.
